Player confidence is a major factor on the field. Nothing destroys a rugby players ability quicker then a handling error in a tense situation. With the grunt of disapproval from thousands of fans and the look of disbelief on your team mates faces, it takes a true champion to rise up and deliver!

The Crash Tackle team is considering the reduction of the current Passing distance from 5 Spaces to 4 Spaces.

It is hoped that this reduction will increase the number of Passes during a game and thereby increase the number turn-overs and Knock-on's.

Initial testing seems to create more passes. Teams trying to reduce the passes by running laterally find it harder to get over the advantage line.

The new application and refereeing of the Rucks in the Rugby laws has put a whole new approach on how teams react and manage the Rucks. The days of slow controlled ball from the Rucks are gone - the Ruck is now a place where quick ball and ferocious contesting are the order of the day.

With this in mind we are now recommending that ALL players in your team are allowed to Ruck.
